What's the secret of Wakonda? We are not a Puppy Mill. Dogs and puppies are raised and live in our home and are given individual attention and affection from day one. As a result they are very comfortable with strangers, obedient (we work with them on basic commands) and integrate easily into their new home.
We provide on-going support, share best practices and keep in touch with our owners well after the pups have
grown - providing personalized attention and service.

Nestled in a hidden valley of eastern West Virginia, Wakonda Farms breeds and farm-raises and Hungarian Vizsla pointers and retrievers.
Known for their extremely affectionate nature, these highly intelligent bird dogs make the ideal hunting partner as well as family companion.
Richard and Shelby, Wakonda Farms owners, have years of experience in dog handling training. We do not breed our dogs to show, we breed our dogs to serve as loving and protective family members.
