Rhett LaCost
Hi, I'm Rhett and came to Wakonda farms in September of 2014 from LaCost breeders here in WV (who have since re-located out west). I am a gentle leader and my mom says I'm a happy-go-lucky guy. I love to play and race across the pastures chasing any kind of bird that flies. Sneaking up on the other dogs is also one of my favorite games.
Scarlett
Born and raised here at Wakonda, I am the third generation of Wakonda Vizlsa. An extrovert from the start I was wagging my tail and greeting visitors almost as soon as I learned to walk. I've grown up to be one of the most beautiful and sweet natured vizslas mom and dad have ever had!
Vicka Rose
Vicka hails from a breeder in North Carolina, the same breeder that we purchased our first Vizsla Maggie, from 13 years ago - the one that started this whole adventure!
Vicka has been "training" to be a mom now for over 2 years as she's eagerly assisted our other girls by tending to the little ones as young as 2 days. She's a great nanny too, patiently playing with and watching over the pups as they grow.
Braylee
Like Scarlett, Braylee is third a generation Wakonda vizsla. She still has a year to go before she's ready to be a Mom and spends her days romping with Vicka in the pastures or looking for mischief as all puppies do. She has a tail that wags the dog and she's quite the little homemaker, making sure all of the doggie dinner bowls are collected and brought to dad. Now if she could just learn how to wash them too!
